Happy Birthday to Me :)

Hey Y'all

Sorry for being MIA. Getting older is really time consuming and exhausting. I never understood why women lie about their age. I totally get it now. Turning 21 was frightening.  I avoided. I didn't want to talk about. I even tried to cancel it. I had to come to terms and deal with it. A girl only turns 27 once right? So I surrounded myself with good friends, yummy food and strong cocktails :) So here's my bday celebrations in photos.

Sunday April 3rd

Late Lunch at Six Feet Under

I started my celebration by celebrating my friend Stephanie's birthday. We went to Six Feet Under and sat on the rooftop patio. It was a gorgeous day and the sun was blazing.

 

Monday April 4th

Margarita Monday's at Tijuana Joe's Cantina

Nothing says welcome to maturity like day time drinking. Tijuana Joes is the place to do it! Its pretty much across the street from me. I can walk there. They don't really have "margarita Mondays" we just made it up.

Dinner at Outback Steakhouse

After a long day in the sun drinking margaritas it makes perfect sense to go pig out at Outback. Right?

Firebird

My bestie Brooke insisted that we go there to ring in my bday at midnight. She wanted to witness me turn old. So we meet up with a few people there for the countdown to 28. My friend who is a bartender there won these guys from me from the machine thingy. I named the pig Karissa (after my friend Karissa who turned pink in the sun earlier that day, the duck's name is Megumi, and the bunny's name is Laquita). There were also a bunch of storms that night with crazy lightening and tornadoes. I was safe and snug at my favorite bar. I also got a lap dance.



It was an odd night. The storms were really bad. The news is reporting possibly 32 million dollars in damages.

Tuesday April 5th (My actual birthday)

I spent most of my day relaxing and detoxing from Monday's shannigans. I wasn't thrilled about my 26th bday what so ever.

I really wanted to have my bday dinner here. I've been wanting to eat here for months. I didn't do my research. They stop putting food out at 8:30 and stop warming it at 9pm. We got there at 8:45pm. So we had to switch up the plan.

Figures that we'd end up someplace and draw all over the table. Acting extra mature for my 29th birthday.

After dinner we went to Firebird for drinks and cake and pure phuckery.

My friend Roald who works there reserved two tables for us and I walked right by. I didn't know that I was reserved special.

Publix cake!!! I swear Publix makes their cakes out of crack. They are so good. I also loved the Disney Princess candles :)

So that's the tame version of my 25th birthday celebrations. I'm getting old. I can't hang like I used to. I'm still tired, and the weekend is here.
