I've wet plenty shadows before (haven't since this happened, but now I have paint pots and Jumbo Pencils to use under a color that I want to POP), to get the vibrant effect and this has never happened before. I even remember wetting Stately (far right) and that color is fine....
I'm kinda bummed because:
1. I paid for it, lol
2. I like the color and it's spring I wanna play with pink.
3. Is Romping a Limited Edition color? If it is that's the 3rd reason why I'm mad!

I need your advice gurus!!! I tried scraping the "layer" off but I don't want it to look all jacked up and scratched. I want to fix it as neatly as possible.

Awww Chicky chicky! That sucks!! Scraping is the only way I know of that would fix it. Unless you go to the extremes and crumble & re-press the whold thing! :(
That's the only way I know how to fix it is to scrape it off. I had this happen to me when I wasn't careful, and I had to scratch the top layer off gently with a needle. I used a needle (the side, kind of slanted) because it was what I had on hand. So now when I use an eyeliner transformer on my shadows, I make sure to only use one side of the shadow, that way the other side won't get all crusted.
yea u have to scrape it off.. that happened to my MAC Passionate..
i was scared too cuz i thought i was gonna ruin it but its so much better now
sorry, love. I think its ruined if you its still not working by scrapinng off the top layer. What i usually do is scrape off a bit anyway to a palette or my hand then wet my brush and dip it in that, so only the part you scraped off gets wet, not the whole pan. hope this helps for next time.
Never add a wet brush back on shadows..
If you are going to use a shadow wet. take up a good amount and add your mixing medium to it(the brush).
another good tip is have more than one brush availble if you are going to use a color wet.
aww, thank goodness now mushroom grow in your palette.
I hate this too... but I think u should not use a wet brush on the palette... aww, hope someone able to help u fix it
huggsss!
omg that has happened to me too but wit the purple one!! boOoo.. maybe ill dry up n go back to normal... haha sigh* mines just happned today n funny how i came across urs... lol just keep usign the pink eventually itll disapear.. xoxo

hey girly you know whats soo funny is that i went through the exact same situation as you. i also ruined my hk too dolly palette by wetting my brush and dipping it into the romping eyeshadow. When i was at mac in nordstroms the other day, i told the mua what happened with my romping eyeshadow and she told me if you stick a piece of tape on the eyeshadow it removes the hard part. i hope that helps. good luck!
Eek! Thanks for posting, so no one else makes the same mistake. =/
I have done the same thing, sometimes you cant even fix it. I have had to throw shadows away like that! Ugh
Loving your blog! come stop by my mine and have a look around.
Hope to see you around there soon!

maybe just sweep off a couple of layers with either 1- a microfiber towel or 2-a paper towel (the bumpy side)
SCRAPE IT OFF!! BACTERIA IS NASTY.
Omgosh! This happens to me before but I didn't use MAC eyeshadows, Thank God! I didn't know what to do either :(
Aww that really sucks! Only thing I can think of is scraping off the top layer, but I know you don't want to do that. :(
Your comment on my blog made me LOL. I loved ANTM during the early seasons. Tyra def taught me how to smile with my eyes. Hehehehe.
