Lippies I Can't Live Without ~ Tag

Hey Y'all!!

I got tagged... So here are my lippies that I can't live without. I choose six and of course there are more, but these are my absolute favorites.

Ok, I can technically live without them. I'd be really cranky though if I didn't have my favorites. :)

I'm surprised that I didn't throw any of my MAC lippies in there. Maybe because they are EMPTY and  stashed away for Back to MAC :)

 

 

1. Urban Decay Pocket Rocket ~ Color: James- It a perfect shiny pink gloss. It smells like Creme Brulee.

2. L'oreal Color Juice ~ Color: Peek-a-Boo Clear #920- I love this lip gloss because I used to have a Lancome Juicy Tubes obsession and those cost about $17-$20. This gloss is pretty much the same. Its very shiny and it's the perfect high shine lipgloss for me.

3. Covergirl Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers ~ Color: #555- I love the way that this lippie compliments my skin tone. It's very shiny (I like high shine). Doesn't stick to my hair. It also tastes and smells like mint, but it's not and overpowering smell or taste.

4. Hello Kitty Grape Flavor Lip Gloss ~ Color: Grape (shut up I know grape isn't a color). The color is very sheer. I love this lippie because it's very shiny tastes and smells like grape, and it's Hello Kitty :)

5. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick~Color: Cocoa Butter. This isn't really a lippie it's a lip balm. I'm seriously addicted to this product. I've been a fiend for years. It's holy grail status. I always have 2 in my car,  2 or 3 in my purse, and on my night stand. I think I reapply in my sleep.

6. L'oreal Paris High Shine ~ Color: #6G It's dark pink lip gloss. It's not as "high shine" as described on the package and I find it to be a bit drying at times, but I still love it. It's tricky to find pink lippies that complement my skin tone.

Kim Kardashian Blue Smokey Eye.....Attempt

Hi Y'all. So since I'm on a NO HAULING CHALLENGE. I've been trying to play with what I have and learn new techniques. I'm really, really, bad using the color blue! Whenever I dabble in blue I end up looking like a cracked out drag queen. I found a cute picture of Kim Kardashian wearing a smokey blue look and I tried to replicate it.....
It didn't come out the way I wanted and I definatley need a lot more practice! So here it goes....

Purple Look & My First Time.......... With Lashes! Unexpected Cute Office Supply Haul

Hi, y'all! So today was a blah... day, I'm kinda depressed about Mommy Cat (my grandmother) and when I see my Mother break down and cry in the bathroom with the lights off it breaks my heart. I know what I'm about to say is horrible but I'm mad at Mommy Cat for leaving us so suddenly. I call her apartment just to hear her answering machine..... :(

So the eyelashes weren't as complicated as I thought! I did one wrong b/c it was stabbing my eye, but that's what practice is for, right!
I went to Wal-Mart today for 1 little thing, Dry Erase Markers, I only have 3 that came w/ my board & 2 dried up already WFT.... So I went to get more markers, and I came back with

Karoke Supastar! Silver Eyes

Ahhh, the feeling of fresh clean flat ironed hair...Sooo silky, soo smooth.... I was going to wear it wavy/curly this week but I like to air dry and its just too cold to go out with damp hair. Even though technically I have no where to go due to umm "lack of employment". This weekend kinda turned out to be a disappointment. The bf and I were supposed to go to the casino on Sat. but that didn't happend. His friend John kinda invited himself over which was fine the 3 of us could have gone, but John was on call so we couldn't risk the 2 hr trip to the casino booo! I had a tiny problem though. You can't go to the casino and rained on my parade but you can drink beer and hang out? What if you got a call? But whateva, boys aren't logical. So instead we drank in the garage and then headed down the road to the shady bar down the road for karoke night! I get greedy at kareoke. I think I own the mike.
My 1st song was "Bidi, Bidi, Bom Bom" by Selena. I sang en perfecto espanol. Yep, when Kendall drinks she becomes bi-lingual. Then some old man asked me to duet w/ him to that song "Hotel" by Sheral Crow & Kid Rock. My last song was "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse, b/c nothing is funnier than singin' about rehab after a night of drinkin'..... The night was pretty much uneventful until we went to the diner. I forgot what sparked it but I said something and the bf said "shut the f-up!", and he was serious. Instead of telling him off and lecturing him on RESPECT I ran into the ladies room and cried dunk tears. So I looked like drunk crying girl. See, the bf cannot drink Captain Morgan anymore, it makes him MEAN! I banned it, but the Captain somehow made it into the fridge and pint of it ended up down his throat. We got back home his friend left (b/c it the environment was soo tense). I told the bf off he sorta apoligized, we went to bed, then in the morning, I packed up my sh*t and left! I was still pissed. He called me later to ask why I left and I told him that I felt really hurt and disrepected, and he apologized. He never straight up apologizes so I guess he realized he really f-up! So anyways here's my look from Sat. night. My goal was to so a silver, gray smokey look, but it turned out looking kinda bluish.
I used greys and silvers from the CS 78 Piece Palette, sorry these colors have no names!!! I did use UD Oil Slick from the UD Ammo Palette on my crease and outer corners. I used my staples Primer- UDPP, Liner-Loreal Voluminous Black, Mascara- Loreal Voluminous Blackest Black, Blush- Clinique Spiced Wine.
I'm out! I'm supposed to start my papers for my intersession course, I said I'd start today but.... I'm just not feeling very "educational" now... Maybe later

Special Delivery!!

Today was a GREAT day!! The FedEx man (who I was stalking all day). First time the bell rang I ran down the stairs and tripped :(, it was UPS delivering my books for next semester ::yawn:: A MATH book!!!The Mr. FedEx came later with my goodies from Coastal Scents (CS).... It was kismet when my door bell rang. I had a lot of stuff to do and was getting ready to head up to my bf's house for the weekend and I was giving up on this stuff being delivered today. So I'm putting on my makeup, foundation, bronzer, blush, primed eyed w/ UDPP and I grabbed my other eye colors when.............The bell rang! Is that fate or what!!! I did an awesome pinkish look today but unfortunately my irresponsible self deleted my photos (boo!) Sorry I can't share......

This was my 1st order with them, and I love everything I received. I'd like to thank Beauty Gumbo & Kimberly Tia for putting me on to CS!!! To feed my addiction to eye shadows!!

I ordered 1lb of Unrefined Shea Butter, which I will be experimenting with at a later date to make my own lush body butter with some essential oils. I found a great post by The Product Junkie Diva on how to whip up the "ingredients".

I ordered to 78 Piece Makeup Palette, look at all of the color opportunities!!!

I also ordered the 26 Shadow Blush Combo Palette which is beautiful.

CS also sent me a sample of Aqua Zone Shadow. I swear they are drug dealers, givin' me a free hit so I'll be back for more.....

The palettes are awesome!!! I'v fallen in ♥! They are super pigmented. I acheived at great look and I didn't even wet my brushes. I can only imagine how much they will pop when I apply with wet brushes. Both palettes were $21.95 each!!

So you think I'd be done with my "fix" because of the UD palette I got for Christmas and the Shady Lady & Cargo purchases I made last week. But when you have an addiction there can never be too much. But nope, I had nothing constructive to do tonight and I went to Walgreens for dish soap, and what I did find a "LAST CHANCE SALE!" So the junkie in me picked up a few things.
